Muñoz Lanzas Construcción is a construction company on the Costa del Sol with more than thirty years’ experience and two offices of its own, in Marbella and Estepona. We build bespoke villas and detached homes and carry out full refurbishments along the western stretch of the coast, from Marbella to Sotogrande.

Knowing the Costa del Sol means knowing that every municipality has its own planning rules, that the terrain changes within a few kilometres from beach to mountains, and that the climate shapes the way we build. That local experience goes into every project.

Choosing the right plot and municipality

Before buying or designing, it pays to know what each plot allows: permitted build area, heights, setbacks and access all depend on the local town hall’s planning rules and, at times, on the estate’s own regulations. We help you assess it with sound technical judgement.

If you already own land, we visit it with you and define the starting point for the project.

Architectural design and municipal licence

We work alongside the architects of your choice to make sure the design is structurally sound and complies with local regulations. We prepare the technical documentation and follow the building licence through until it is granted.

Solutions designed for the Mediterranean climate

Intense sun, long summers, sea breezes and occasional heavy rain: construction on the Costa del Sol calls for good insulation, solar protection, careful waterproofing and efficient use of water in gardens and pools.

Site management from our local offices

From Marbella and Estepona we coordinate every trade and supervise each stage, from the foundations to the finishes. Being close to the site means we can resolve issues the same day they arise. You will have a single point of contact and regular meetings to follow progress.

Turnkey handover and aftercare

We hand over the house finished, inspected and ready to move into, with all its documentation. Afterwards we remain by your side with our own aftercare service, which is particularly useful if you spend only part of the year on the coast.

What should I consider when building a house on the Costa del Sol?

Three things above all: what the municipal plan allows on your plot, the characteristics of the land (gradient, ground type and access) and a design adapted to the climate, with good orientation, solar protection and insulation. We advise you on each point before work begins.

Which towns on the Costa del Sol do you work in?

Mainly on the western Costa del Sol: Marbella, Benahavís, Estepona, Casares, Manilva and Sotogrande (San Roque). If your project is elsewhere, do get in touch.

Do you offer turnkey construction?

Yes. We can take on the entire build, coordinating design, licences, construction and finishes, or work as the main contractor alongside the architects of your choice.

Do you also carry out refurbishments on the Costa del Sol?

Where are your offices?

We have two: in Marbella, at Aloha Mirasierra (Av. Valle del Golf, 4, 29660), and in Estepona, at Calle Lope de Vega, Edificio Maestranza 4 (29680). From there we cover the whole coast.
