MLZ Construcción is a luxury construction company on the Costa del Sol, specialising in building luxury homes and villas and in the full refurbishment and restoration of prestige properties. We approach every build as a one-off piece: considered architecture, fine materials and quality-control processes designed for residences that are meant to endure.

We work for private clients, family offices, boutique developers and international architecture practices. We coordinate first-rate European suppliers, oversee every stage with our qualified team and deliver the work within the agreed timescale and budget. Discretion, attention to detail and reliability are the hallmarks of the way we build.

Listening and project analysis

A first meeting, with no obligation, to understand the client’s vision, the plot and the scope of the project. We review the drawings, the planning constraints and any preliminary studies.

Project engineering and a fixed quote

Together with the project architects, we refine specifications, materials and technical solutions. We then deliver a fixed quote with a detailed breakdown and a realistic schedule.

Selecting materials and suppliers

Showroom visits, approval of physical samples and confirmation of suppliers. Every significant element is signed off by the client before it reaches the site.

Construction under continuous supervision

A permanent team on site, regular meetings with the owner and documented traceability for every milestone. No surprises.

Pre-handover, handover and aftercare

A pre-handover walkthrough with the owner, final adjustments and a formal handover with a complete dossier for the home. Our own aftercare service throughout the guarantee period.

Do you work turnkey, or only as a contractor?

We offer both. We take on complete turnkey projects, from the feasibility study through to handover, and we also carry out partial works as principal contractor, coordinating with the architecture, landscape or interior design practice the client appoints.

Which parts of the Costa del Sol do you build in?

We work in Marbella (Sierra Blanca, the Golden Mile, Nueva Andalucía), Benahavís (La Zagaleta, El Madroñal), Estepona, Sotogrande, Casares, Manilva and the rest of the Costa del Sol. We know the municipal regulations and the technical particularities of each enclave.

How long does it take to build a luxury villa?

A high-end new-build villa takes between 12 and 24 months from the start of work on site, depending on its size, the complexity of the plot and the specification. We always work to a detailed programme, with regular progress meetings with the owner.

Do you guarantee the budget and the programme?

We work to a fixed budget and a signed programme agreed before work begins. Any change is documented and expressly approved by the owner. Our record of projects delivered on time and on budget is our best guarantee.

Can you sign confidentiality agreements?

Yes. Discretion is part of our service. We sign NDAs with owners and their representatives, control access to site, safeguard plans and reports, and deal only with the people the client has authorised.
