Geotechnical survey and foundations by the sea

Near the coast the ground can be sandy or have a high water table, while the hills bring slopes and made ground. The geotechnical survey tells us which foundations, drainage and waterproofing each plot needs so that the villa stays stable and dry for decades.

Manilva is the westernmost municipality in the province of Málaga, and each of its communities has its own character. Sabinillas (San Luis de Sabinillas) is its seafront, with a promenade, a beach and village life all year round. What changes when you build a villa near the sea in Sabinillas?

The ground and the environment both change. The geotechnical survey defines the right foundations and drainage, and proximity to the sea means choosing salt-resistant materials, ironmongery and joinery. We resolve all of this at design stage, before work starts.

Who handles the building licence in Manilva?

We take care of it ourselves, in coordination with the project architect: we submit the application to Manilva Town Hall, respond to any technical requests and keep you informed at every step until the licence is granted.
