A Mediterranean home made for outdoor living
The project
Villa Goya 12 is a detached home in Marbella, in a residential area of pine woods close to the sea. Its simple volumes and sandy tones give it a calm, Mediterranean character, and the whole house is arranged around a pool courtyard, surrounded by greenery and screened from view.
The build
Beneath a large reed-covered pergola sit the outdoor dining area, a lounge and the summer kitchen, all beside the water. Inside, natural timber sets the tone in the joinery and wardrobes, with pale floors and indirect lighting running through every room, from the island kitchen to the en-suite bedrooms.
The roof is put to good use as a sun terrace, with seating areas and views over the pine canopy to the Mediterranean.
