New build
A contemporary villa among gardens and pergolas
The project
Villa Sophia is in Marbella, surrounded by gardens and with La Concha in view. Its contemporary architecture pairs white volumes with black steel pergolas that shade the terraces.
The build
The pool, with submerged steps and stepping stones, sits at the centre of the garden, flanked by Balinese daybeds. The covered terrace and the upper terrace, with outdoor lounges beneath pergolas, carry the life of the house outdoors.
Inside, pale floors and large windows bring light to the living room, the dining room with its wine wall and the island kitchen. The bedrooms each have a dressing room and en-suite bathroom, and a glass staircase connects the floors.
